Our general health is very important because it can greatly affect the life of the individual. People should always remember that they should have appropriate and exact blood pressure.
Blood pressure can be explained as the volume of force that is applied on the walls of the arteries in the human body, as the blood runs through them. High blood pressure can happen only in situations where the arteries get or receive an excessive pressure. If high blood pressure is not immediately guided or treated it may lead to serious health problems like loss of vision, stroke, kidney disease and heart failure.
There are always lots of factors that can affect the blood pressure in our body and lead to it. The factors are smoking, stress, lack of sleep, alcohol, obesity etc. When the blood pressure is 140/90 mmHg, it is considered to be high blood pressure.
There are 5 categories of blood pressure:
- Hypotension or lowe blood pressure
- Normal blood pressure
- Stage one hypertension
- Stage two hypertension
The symptoms of high blood pressure:
When the blood pressure increases, it is inevitable that you will experience the symptoms. They include, vomiting, nausea, headaches, blurred vision, dizziness, as well as dyspnea and palpitation. If you are experiencing these symptoms, or any of these symptoms it is better to consult with your doctor immediately. Although rarely, high blood pressure can appear in children as well, but older people and adults are more susceptible to it. In order to have a normal blood pressure, and maintain those levels, you need to exercise every day, reduce the amount of alcohol that you drink and the salty foods that you consume, have a proper amount of sleep and lose weight.
But, there are some different ways to bring back your blood pressure to normal. The human body contains pressure points that when pressed or massaged, will bring the high blood pressure down.
Lu Hens, a doctor in Spartak ball club in Moscow says that it is the best way to normalize your blood pressure and the blood flow.
Here is how:
- Point 1 – this point stretches from the back of your earlobe to the middle of your clavicle. You need to massage this point gently, using your fingertips. You need to repeat this at least 10 times on both sides.
- Point 2 – This point stretches from your ear and ends in the area of your nose. You need to massage this point anywhere from three to seven minutes, while pressing it carefully and massaging the two sides. This massage will decrease the high blood pressure in around 5 minutes.
