These Symptoms Show That Adrenal Fatigue Is the Cause of Your Anxiety, Sleep Disorders and Joint Pain

Adrenal fatigue is a stress-related condition which affects the adrenal glands.

It is manifested by exhaustion, weak immune system, sleep disorders, and food cravings. These symptoms can be very disturbing so you need to treat them if you want to avoid further health complications.

Stress affects your immune system, increases the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases, and causes digestive problems.

These signs indicate that you have adrenal fatigue syndrome.

Poor digestion

Your body is not able to manage stress and digest food at the same time. Stress inhibits your body’s ability to absorb nutrients. Also, it slows down your metabolism and the process of burning calories. This leads to bloating, indigestion, constipation, diarrhea and weight gain. Drink plenty of water to prevent digestive problems. Also, take probiotics and minerals and measure your meals.

Sleep disorders

Getting seven to eight hours of sleep is very important. Sleep deprivation affects your overall health. Increase the intake of magnesium to boost your body’s ability to produce melatonin, known as the sleep hormone that regulates sleep and wakefulness. Have a warm bath and practice yoga to improve your sleep quality.

Anxiety and depression

This syndrome is also manifested by mood swings and mild cognitive impairment. Excessive anxiety is linked to depression.

Stiffness and pain

Many people don’t know that your emotions can cause you physical pain, but you can experience a stiff neck and neck pain when you are stressed out. You can also feel neck pain, jaw pain, and joint pain. Surprisingly enough, a warm bath has similar benefits to exercise. Magnesium salt baths relax and detoxify your body.

You feel exhausted after working out

The body provides energy during exercise. But, adrenal fatigue can cause muscle and bone loss which affects your ability to perform exercises. Proper nutrition is also an important factor in your ability to work out and your overall health.

Hormonal imbalance

Adrenal fatigue syndrome affects your thyroid function and causes thyroid disorders, slow metabolism, poor circulation, weight gain, dry skin, and brittle nails.

Excessive stress for a longer period of time can also cause missed periods. So, have a balanced diet, drink enough water, get enough sleep, and avoid caffeine.
