If you have problems with urination, it can be a result of the swelling of the cervical walls, which will press the bladder and the kidneys. This can sometimes even lead to a urinary tract infection.

  1. Pain in the hips, back, and legs

The swollen cervix will at some point affect your internal organs, which means that it will result in a pain in the legs, pelvis, and ankles. This happens because of the pressure that is being put on the blood vessels.

  1. Warts

According to Rosa Maria, a gynecologist, the appearance of small warts, both internal and external, should be seen as a red flag for diseases like HPV, which will significantly increase the chances of cervical cancer in women.

  1. Weight loss

When the cervix is swollen, it will pressure your stomach, which means that you will rapidly lose weight and appetite.
