Prepare a healthy and effective, muscle relieving bath bomb at home!

The bath bomb recipe that we will show you today, is much better than the ones that you can find in the store because it contains some ingredients that can soothe the pain in your muscles, and relax them as well.

Everyone likes a good and fizzy bath bombs. They are a perfect gift for the ones that you love, and they are also a better replacement for your typical bubble bath. But, some of the bath bombs that you can find in the local stores, are packed with toxic dyes and fragrances that can damage your health. This means that it is safer to make a bath bomb at home, because this way, you will be able to control the ingredients that you use, thus eliminating all the dangerous toxins. The bath bomb that we are going to talk about today, contains Epsom salt, coconut oil, and peppermint oil, which are the perfect ingredients to relax and soothe your sore muscles.

You are going to need 2 metal bath bomb molds, which you can order online, or buy them from the local store. Then, you will need to get a large bowl, and then mix together Epsom salt, baking soda, and tartar cream. You will need to mix these ingredients until you get a homogenous mixture. The Epsom salt is very effective when it comes to the treatment of sunburns and itchy skin, and when you mix them together, these ingredients will form a combination that can relieve and soothe our muscles. Tartar cream is used so that you can get that fizzy effect.

Then, blend the coconut oil and the peppermint oil. We are adding coconut oil because it is an ingredient that is being used in almost every beauty product, and it will make our skin soft and supple. You can take a spray bottle filled with water, in order to mist the mixture as you are mixing it. But please remember that you must not add too much water to the mixture because it will not stick together when you squeeze it.

Then, take the mixture and fill up the bath bomb molds. Then, store them in a cold area, and leave them to sit for at least four hours. After four hours, you can open the molds and you will get your bath bomb. You can also take a knife and then remove the edges from the mold so that you can make it even better-looking.


  • One teaspoon of peppermint oil
  • Two tablespoons of tartar cream
  • Two tablespoons of melted coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup of Epsom salt
  • Half a cup of baking soda
  • Half a teaspoon of chopped rosemary (this one is optional)
  • Two metal bath bomb molds
  • Medium glass bowl
  • Spray bottle with water

How to prepare it:

Take the dry ingredients and add them in a glass bowl, along with the chopped rosemary. Whisk the ingredients in order to blend them, and then add the coconut and the peppermint oil.

Take a spray bottle and spray some water onto the mixture as you are mixing, just remember to not add too much of it. Then, take a spoon so that you can take the mixture and fill the bath bomb molds with it. Overfill the two parts of the mold a little bit, and then press the two parts together and leave them for four hours in a dry and cool spot. Then loosen the metal molds, take the molded mixture that is located inside, and you are finished.
