This Is what you need to check whenever you buy bottled water!

Picking the right bottle of water is actually a very hard process. You may ask why is it so hard? Because of the fact that not all bottled water is the same, and there are some manufacturers that use toxic plastic in order to produce the bottles that contain the water.

If you want to see if the plastic is toxin free, you just need to check the bottom of the bottle. Because the manufacturers of the bottle are obliged to label the content, you will be able to see HDPE, HDP and PP, engraved on the bottom of the container.

Those letters tell us that the plastic that has been used for the production of the bottles is not toxic, and it will not leach toxins in the water. If you see any other letters than these, it means that the plastic is toxic and the water inside is contaminated.

This is a toxic plastic that leaches heavy metals and chemicals that will disrupt the hormonal balance in your body.

These bottles are made from the safest plastic, and they do not pose any risk for the water.

If you see these letters on your bottle, please do not drink the water, because it contains two toxins that will cause hormonal imbalances in your body.

This plastic will not leach toxins in your water, but it is not recommended for producing plastic bottles.

This plastic is used in the production of syrup packages and yogurt cups, and it is semi-transparent plastic.

This is arguably the worst plastic on the market. It is the one that is added to the coffee cups and fast food casings. The reason why this plastic is so bad, is because of the fact that it leeches carcinogens in the water.

Plastic that is not labeled/PC

You need to stay away from this plastic as well. It is used by some producers in sport bottles and food containers, and it releases BPA.

Please take care of your health, and always buy products that are safe.

I’ve been buying Evian water and it has no letters on the bottom, just numbers. Perhaps the reason is it is bottled in France?

One brand of water bottle I have has “HDP” on one spoke, then opposite spoke as the Recycle triangle with “PETE” printed underneath it. So it the safest or the worst ?

Does this apply to other products than water?
