Lead, arsenic, mercury and since not so long ago fluoride, all have in common that they are officially considered to be neurotoxins.
Many people protested in recent years with a common goal to have industrial sodium fluoride removed from the water supply.
You need to be careful with these industrial chemicals
The Lancet Neurology published a report in which they examined and found five neurotoxins: arsenic, toluene, lead, polychlorinated biphenyls and methylmercury.
The study also states that they identified six other developmental neurotoxins: manganese, fluoride, chlorpyrifos, dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane and tetrachloroethane.
Fluoride and cancer
Fluoride can be found in the water that we are drinking and it has been linked to multiple forms of cancer. It is different when compared to the natural calcium fluoride. Fluoride can be found in the water supplies across North America, but it is banned in many countries in Europe.
ADHD and mental complications
The authors of the report that was published in The Lancet stated that the chemicals that are new and are in use, must be tested for developmental neurotoxicity.
It was also noted that mental complications like attention-deficit, hyperactivity disorder and dyslexia are on the rise on a global level.
They also researched and came to a conclusion that children who live in countries with highly fluoridated water have notably lower IQ than children who live in areas where fluoride is not present in the water.
