We can all agree on the fact that working out is a hard process. It demands time, effort, strength and courage. But we can also agree that once you manage to convince yourself to start working out, and once it becomes a part of your daily routine, then, the hardest thing is to stop. Let’s start with the food. If you want to lose weight quickly, start selecting your food wisely. Try to eat healthy, natural food, and eat slowly. You don’t have to feel full to be strong. Eat as much as you need, not as much as you want to. Think of the food as a fuel and not as something that gives you pleasure. Let your body tell you what it needs, and not your mouth. Try to calculate your daily intake of food by calories, and then calculate the calories you spend during the day. There should NOT be a very big difference. If hungry, don’t eat the first thing that comes in your sight. Drink a lot of fluids, like tea, water or natural juice. Stay away from sweets, snacks and junk food. Don’t abuse alcohol, drugs or cigarettes. Don’t live your day like it is the last one. And start exercising. Work out at least 4 days a week.

  • Jogging- It is going to be hard at the beginning, but after few weeks, you will feel the differences. And when you outrun your first mile without any particular effort, that is the moment when you should be proud of yourself, for, always, that mile is the game-changer in our mind. After that mile, it is all going to get better and easier.
  • Cycling- if you don’t like running, and that first mile gives you trouble more that you want to, grab your bike and start cycling around the block. After a while, you will see the best results in your abdomen and your legs. Where did the belly go!?
  • Walking- Hey, don’t worry. Even if you are older, or you don’t have a bike, there is much you can do about your overweight just by walking. That’s right. Go for a longer walk then you have to, try to walk faster than you usually do and you will see the results after a while.
  • Play some sports- It doesn’t have to be team sports. Play table tennis (even with your wall if you have no partner), golf, basketball… Or go to the gym and lift some weight. Come on, do it for yourself!
