Your body is acidic. Here is what you need to do

The human body strives to maintain a delicate pH balance. It affects everything that surrounds us, from the soil quality to the cells in our body.

Potential hydrogen (pH) measures the hydrogen ions in particular solutions. When we talk about the pH values in our body, we refer to the tissues and bodily fluids. These values range from 0 to 14, and pH value of 7 is considered to be neutral. Values that are higher than 7 are alkaline, and those lower than 7 are acidic.

Not every part of the body has the same pH value. The skin, intestine and vagina are acidic, because this way they keep the bacteria away.

Especially in the mornings, the urine is acidic and the saliva is alkaline. Some acids that our body has to deal with, are naturally produced and are by-products of metabolism, workout, cellular breakdown and respiration.

The most important of them all is the blood pH value. A slightly alkaline blood pH leads to optimal cellular health and it ranges between 7.365 and 7.4. Because the pH values cannot be balanced with ease, we need to learn and understand how our body maintains alkaline blood range.

By eating lots of processed foods, factory farmed animal foods and sugar, you are putting your cells in inflammatory acids multiple times a day.

  • Four tablespoons of organic apple cider vinegar or fresh lemon juice
  • 2/3 tsp of baking soda

How to prepare it:

Mix the ingredients together. Soon after the combination will start to fizz and you need to keep adding baking soda until it stops. Then add 8 oz. of filtered water. You need to drink this mixture without making long breaks. This drink will create an alkaline environment in your body and will neutralize your pH.
