The amazing health properties of tangerine peels that most people throw away

Tangerine is a tasty citrus fruit that has a sweet-sour taste and it contains an amazing aroma. It is a great natural source of vitamin C and antioxidants.

But, one of the most common mistakes that people make is that they throw away the peel. This is a huge mistake because the peel contains nutrients like niacin, potassium, copper, magnesium, zinc, beta-carotene, manganese, iron, calcium and vitamins A, C, E, and K.

Knowing all this, it does not come as a surprise that this fruit is being used as a natural remedy for many kinds of diseases and health conditions. It can lower the levels of blood sugar and cholesterol, relieves symptoms of flu and cold, detoxifies our body, helps with morning sickness, and removes anxiety and stress. Because of this, it is always a great idea to dry the peels of this fruit and then store them in a glass jar.

Tangerine peels can help you with the following problems:

  1. Bronchitis

Take a glass filled with boiling water, and then add two teaspoons of tangerine peel. Leave them to stay in the water for 60 minutes, and then drink the water. You can drink this remedy 3 times during the day, and you will naturally eliminate bronchitis in no time.

  1. Coughs

Take a glass filled with hot water and then add two tablespoons of dried tangerine peels, and then store the glass in a cool place for 7 days. After that, you can take 20 drops of this mixture, previously dissolved in a glass of water. Take this remedy before your meals, no more than three times during the day.

  1. Nasal congestion

Take a bowl with a small mouth, add several fresh tangerine peels, and then add boiling water to the bowl. You will need to breathe the vapor from the container for around 10 minutes.

  1. Digestive problems

You can use the dried tangerine peel to make a powder, and then add this powder into your meals. It will relieve stomach pain.

  1. Foot fungus

You can rub a fresh tangerine peel onto the affected area two times a day, during the week.

  1. Sleeping problems and tiredness

You can place several tangerine peels in a small bag and then hold them close to you. Breathe the aroma that comes out of the bag for no more than 15 minutes.

  1. Tachycardia and high blood pressure

Take 3 liters of water, and then add one glass of fresh tangerine peels. Bring the water to a boil and then leave it to stay for 60 minutes, so it can cool down. Then, strain the mixture and use it to rub your body with it when you are taking a bath. It is recommended to do this one day and then skip the other.
