A Sock Full of Salt Can Help You Treat Ear Infections – Both for Children and Adults

A cold, throat infection, or allergy attack cause buildup of fluid to become trapped in the middle ear, which leads to ear infections.

Children are more susceptible to ear infections compared to adults, because their immune system is not fully developed yet. This condition can be very unpleasant , because you experience a fever and unbearable ear pain.

Autumn days are approaching and they bring rain, fog, and moisture which cause the common cold.

Alternative medicine has been proven many times as more effective than the modern one. Most importantly, people almost never complain of any side effects.

This ”do it yourself” method will help you relieve the pain and reduce the inflammation in your ear or your children’s ear. It is very easy to use and you will only need two things: socks and a little salt.

Salt contains trace elements such as phosphorous, zinc, iron, manganese, copper and silicon. These minerals have the ability to reduce the pain and lower body temperature.

Just follow the instructions carefully.

You will need:

  • One cup of coarse sea salt (don’t use the common salt)
  • A clean white sock

First, put a pan on a stove. Heat it over medium temperature. Then, put the salt in a sock. Now, tie a knot on top. After that, put the sock to the pan and heat it. You don’t want to burn yourself or someone else, so make sure you don’t overheat it. You will only need 5 minutes for that. After that, take the sock and shake it. Place the sock on the painful ear. You will feel relief in a few minutes.

Thank you for your attention.
